Hi, everyone!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Tri-State Genealogical Society’s IT coordinator, I’m so excited to offer public information and resources here in Kassidy’s Corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I’m not busy doing genealogy, I strive to promote and learn history via other outlets. I’ve obtained 17 new Veterans Affairs grave markers for Revolutionary War and Civil War veterans in my community, and I am also involved with cemetery preservation and maintenance. In fact, I recently received a grant to place self-guided walking tours at seven cemeteries in my county–just one way history preservation and researching coincide! I also enjoy speaking about history to groups of all different age ranges and skill levels, discussing both genealogy and the American Civil War. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I graduated summa cum laude from Liberty University with my B.S. in History\/Creative Writing Minor. I’m actively pursuing my M.A. in History, also from Liberty University (projected graduation date: May 2027). Now, as a degreed historian, I am excited to offer History for the Ages<\/a>, a platform that provides in-person and online presentations on a slew of historical, genealogical, and cemetery topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my free time, I enjoy reading, studying my Bible, singing, antique shopping\/collecting, visiting historical sites, strength training, giving historical presentations, and enjoying nature on my family’s farm, where pets outnumber people. I’m also a contributing writer at The Western Theater in the Civil War<\/a> and a volunteer record transcriber at National Park Service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here in Kassidy’s Corner, I’ll be sharing information that I’ve found helpful throughout my historical research.
