On 1 December 2001 we were taking a drive in McLean County, Kentucky and noticed a
small cemetery located in a yard near a house. We stopped and asked the lady if
I could photograph the cemetery markers. She kindly agreed.
I found this family interesting and wanted to learn more about the names inscribed
on the markers. You will find a few documents included in this file that add to
the information inscribed on the markers.
Ellison Family Cemetery is located on Hwy 85 one mile east of Island, McLean County,
Kentucky.
